Baby Tilda

If you missed it I have some candy HERE..


Today I used one of the Magnolia stamps from the new Princes & Princesses collection..
Her name is Baby Tilda..

I made this card for one challenge in particular.. It's the Magnolia Down Under Challenge #139 where the theme this week is BINGO..

I chose the Dies &/Or Punches - Flowers - Glitter/Bling combination..

Here's my card:

The flags are a Magnolia Doohickey.. The alphabet is from Tim Holtz and it's called Typeset..

I distressed all the edges and added some Crackle Paint..

All the papers I used are Magnolia and Papermania..

The round dies are Spellbinders.. The flowers and half-pearls from Wild Orchid Crafts.. The flower stamen is from my stash..

This cute die is from Whimsy Stamps and it's from the Welcome Baby Die Set.. The stripe under the image is made with a Martha Stewart punch..

Once again I coloured the image with Distress Inks.. I still have to practice a lot..

I'm not sure you can see it but there's a lot of glitter on her dress and butterflies.. And of course I added some Liquid Pearls around the image..

I made this big bow with my Bow-Easy.. The paper edges are sewn with a sewing machine..

Tilda With Hawaii Flower

Spring is here and I love the way it makes me feel..

I'm really trying hard to learn colouring with Distress Inks..
There are many many videos on YouTube that show how to use them, but I haven't found any that show how exactly and from where do the ladies pick the colors on the brush..
I think I found a way to do that and the results are already showing..
I'm really proud of the latest card I've made..

Here it is..

The papers I used are Magnolia and Papermania.. The stamp is called Tilda with Hawaii Flower..

The butterlfy edge die is from Tim Holtz.. The ovals are Spellbinders.. And the two butterflies are Magnolia Doohickey's.. So is the tag from kraft paper..

I also used some corrugated cardboard from packaging and painted it with Distress crackle paint..

I also did it on the butterfly edge..

All the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.. The gemstones are from K&Company..

The cheesecloth, lace and stamen are from my stash.. Don't know the name of the producer..

As I already said the whole image is coloured with Distress Inks on 300g aquarel paper..
I also added some White Opal Liquid Pearls around Tilda and two tiny dots on her cheeks with the Inkssentials pen..
All the paper edges are sewn with my new sewing machine..

Some of the photos were taken earlier today.. some of them now that the sun's shining on my balcony..

Just wanted to show you how the colour of the card changes depending on the light..

It's been over a year since I started my blogging journey..
What better reason to have some blog candy, right???
I think you all know how big is my love for Magnolia stamps..
That's why I thought of something special..

As you can see I tried the no-lines technique and I must say that I really think this is not my thing..

Hello! Tilda

Here's the card I promised you earlier today..

I thought it would be a good thing to start making Easter cards because I know that when I get my hands on the new Magnolia Princess & Princesses Collection I won't be using any other stamp than the new ones :))

Here's my little Tilda..

This one's very simple and clean..
Although I spent a lot of time sewing and colouring it was made relatively quickly..
As you can see I used two Martha stewart punches, some Spellbinders, Liquid Pearls, some flowers and stamen and some feather.. Nothing special..

Circus Tilda

I made this card for a very special lady..
It'll be soon her birthday and I wanted to give her something unique..
This really isn't my stile but she's kind of a ''dark'' lady, that's why I've chosen those colours..
I hope she'll like it..

Tilda With Daisy

The last couple of days the weather's been really beautiful here and I had an urge to make something more fresh..
That's how I came up with the idea of a yellow card.. I don't use much this color but I'm really satisfied with the final result..
