Marvelous Magnolia #5 - Monochrome

Hey!

Time for a new challenge at Marvelous Magnolia..

The theme this week is Monochrome..

Here's my card:

I used three stamps for this one..

Tilda in Havana

Cafe Chair

French Tea Party

They are all from the Magnolia Summer Memories Collection 2012..

The DP's are from Maja Design, the textured paper from Papermania..

I also used some kraft paper on this one..

The vintage seam binding is from Live & Love Crafts..

The tag is a Magnolia Doohickey called Bloomy Tag..

The pearls are from Kaisercraft and the two small flowers from Marianne Design..

The die-cut on the right is Tim Holtz's Weathered Clock..

The border is made with a Doohickey called Old Swedish Lace..

This beautiful flower is a Petaloo Mulberry Street paper flower..

The stunning corner is from Make It Crafty.. I embossed it with Walnut Stain Distress Ink to match the other die-cuts that were also distressed with that one.. 

There's some cheesecloth under the image..

All the paper edges are distressed and sewn..

The dots are made with Liquid Pearls..

The image is stamped with StazOn Ink on 300g Montval Canson aquarel paper and coloured with Distress Inks..

I used all the brown tones that I have..

Antique Linen, Frayed Burlap, Tea Dye, Brushed Corduroy, Vintage Photo, Pumice Stone, Walnut Stain..

Midweek Magnolias - Week #39

This is Tilda as Lucia.. Some stores call her Star Tilda..

She's from the Merry Little Christmas Collection 2010..

I hope you don't hate me for making so many shaker cards lately but I just can't stop..

These gorgeous DP's are from Magnolia.. The textured papers are from Papermania..

The star on the right is made with a Magnolia Doohickey.. I stamped it with the Christmas Background stamp.. The half-pearls are from Rayher..

I bought the 'Made With Love' charm on Ebay.. The lace is from my stash..

The border on the left is made with a Doohickey called Romantic Lace..

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.. The stems from a local store..

The snowflakes around Tilda are from the Christmas Story Collection - Jingle Jangle Snowflake..

I have a little obsession for doilies too lately.. :)

I used my Spellbinders Ovals for the shaker..

The acetate is from my stash and the glitter is from Martha Stewart.. I embossed the acetate with the Polka Dots Cuttlebug embossing folder..

The dots on the frame are Liquid Pearls..

The image is stamped with StazOn Ink on 300g Montval Canson aquarel paper and coloured with Distress Inks..

All the papers are distressed and sewn with a sewing machine..

Tilda's Town Challenge #28 - Anything Goes

Here's my card for the new challenge at Tilda's Town..

This week's theme is Anything Goes..

That's fantastic, isn't it?

I used Sleeping Baby Tilda from the Magnolia Cozy Family Autumn Collection..

The papers are from Magnolia and Papermania..

There are three Tilda Tickets one the card and I also used another Doohickey for the border on the photo below.. That's the Tilda Lace Die..

All the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts..

The pearls are from Rayher..

All the paper edges are distressed with Walnut Stain Distress Ink and sewn..

There's some cheesecloth under the image and a gorgeous doily..

I used my Spellbinders ovals to make the shaker part..

Liquid Pearls to decorate the border and tickets..

The image is stamped with Timber Brown StazOn Ink on 300g Montval Canson aquarel paper and coloured with Distress Inks..

I used Liquid pearls around the image too and Stickles for some parts of her dress and wings, but you have to put your nose really close to see them..

I love Magnolia's Santa and I decided it was time to use this stamp I purchased a loooong time ago..

I used two Doohickey's..
Edwin Lace for the border and the Scalloped Tag..
The lace is from a local store..

All the paper edges are distressed with Walnut Stain Distress Ink and sewn..
I added some Rayher pearls in the corners..

There's a Marianne Design snowflake under the post mark..

I added some Frosted Lace Stickles on her dress and Liquid Pearls around her..

This week's theme is Thanksgiving..

It was really hard for me to make this card since this may be the last card I make as a Tilda's Town Challenge DT member..

Hopefully they'll e-mail me and say that they want me to continue this fantastic journey with them..

We'll see..

I'm not satisfied at all with this card because whenever I try to make something simple it turns out horrible..

This really isn't my thing..
