Live & Love Crafts - A Moment In Time

Hi everyone, I'm here with my next creation for the Live & Love Crafts DT..

I've chosen my 'Moment in Time' and it's the birth of a baby..

I've made another book card with some papers from Maja Design's Vintage Summer Basics collection..

The image is coloured with Distress Inks and then completely covered with Gesso..

That really gives a nice aged look to it..

Here are just some of the gorgeous flowers Sandy stocks..

And look at that super cute charm..

That's just one of the stunning charms you can find in the store..

Lots of new designs have been added recently.. I have to get those, right?

Let's take a look at these three amazing laces..

There's the Rhinestones lace and the newer Pearl Rose Organza Trim and some lace ''Fleurie''.. 

There are tons of pearls all over the place and of course I had to use some Shabby Seam Binding..

In this case to close the card..

Here are some more flowers and a gorgeous pin..

I've cut out a heart and attached some Tulle Pleat Trim around..

Then I covered it with cheesecloth and lots of roses.. Love how this turned out!

Live & Love Crafts - Très Chic

Morning everyone!

This is what I have for you today.. It might look as an ordinary card from this side but it's not..
It's a gift box.. A Très Chic birthday gift for a Très Chic lady..
That's the theme for this week at LLC..

The designer papers are from Maja Design.. 

These are my favourites from the Vintage Summer Basics collection..
The image is called Tilda In The Garden.. It's a Magnolia stamp from the You Are So Special Collection 2011..

Take a look at this pin.. Beautiful, isn't it?

Sandy's got the most gorgeous pins in her store.. If you haven't seen them already you should really check them out..

And there's a heart doily hidden under all those layers..

This key charm is one of my favourites.. Wanna know why?

Because you can 'personalize' it ..

I've added some tiny pearls on but you could use some rhinestones, liquid pearls or whatever you think would look great..

Those flower sprays are fantastic and I've added a tiny bit of cheesecloth under the flowers too..

Here's a close up of the two gorgeous laces and the Notting Hill Keyhole..

There are lots of pearls all over the box and I've added some Frantage around the image..

The scalloped edge around the lid and in this pic was made using a Martha Stewart punch..

All the paper edges are distressed and machine sewn..

Here are some more flowers.. All from WOC except for the Kort og Godt Rolled Rose..

They are all stained with some gesso..

The pearl spray is also from Kort og Godt..

I've added some Stickles on the flowers she's holding in her hands..

I've used a Spellbinders Oval to cut out the image and a Scalloped Oval under it..

Look at this wonderful detail..

I've added some white shabby seam binding all around the box lid and decorated the bow with some more flowers and this fantastic Diamond Chandelier Drop..

The image is stamped with Archival Ink on 300g Langton aquarel paper and coloured with both Distress Inks and reinkers..
