Midweek Magnolias - Week #17

Another Wednesday, another new theme at Midweek Magnolias..

Our challenge this week is Lovely Lace..

Here's my card:

The patterned papers are from Magnolia, the textured papers I use for my die-cuts are from Papermania..

I used a Tim Holtz die called Vintage market for the word baby..

As you can see all the papers are sewn and distressed with Walnut Stain Distress Ink..

I used my brand new Tilda Ticket Doohickey too..

Some Liquid Pearls on the tickets..

The lace border on the left is made using a Doohickey - Vintage Lace..

I used the same die to make the border around the image..

All the flowers, half-pearls and pearl spray stems are from Wild Orchid Crafts..

Aren't they gorgeous??

The lace is from a local store..

This cutie is Sleeping Baby Tilda (Tingla) from the Cozy Family Autumn Collection 2010.. I know it's a girl but I find this image perfect for both.. Boys and Girls..

I stamped the image with Timber Brown StazOn Ink on 300g Montval Canson aquarel paper and coloured with Distress Inks..

I used a Spellbinders oval to cut out the baby..

The little dots around the image are made with  Liquid Pearls.. 

I also added Frosted Lace Stickles on the dress and wings and Baby Blue Stickles on the pillow..

Tilda's Town Challenge #6 - Edwin

A new day and a new challenge at Tilda's Town..

This time we want you to make a card using just Edwin..

Here's my card:

I used one of my paper sheets from the new Magnolia Summer Memories Collection 2012..

The tag is made from kraft paper..

I used lots of jute string this time.. And lots of cheese cloth..

I used two Magnolia stamps for this card..

Dangling Sea Edwin and Sea Background..

Both from the Bon Voyage Collection 2010..

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts..

The image is stamped on 300g Montval Canson aquarel paper and coloured with Distress Inks..

 The button and shells are from a local store..

The paper edges are sewn with my sewing machine and distressed with Walnut Stain Distress Ink..

I used it on the flowers and tag too..

I added Frosted Lace Stickles on the clouds and Glossy Accents on the border.. And of course Liquid Pearls around the image

Hanna and Friends #148 - Recipe

It's time for a new challenge at Hanna and Friends and this time we have a 

3-2-1 recipe for you..

3 flowers

2 different patterned papers

1 ribbon

Here's my card for this challenge:

I used 2 patterned Magnolia papers from the Princes & Princesses Collection.. 

This little dragonfly is a Magnolia Doohickey.. I covered it with Frosted Lace Stickes and added two pearls..

The leaf and border die are also Doohickey's.. 

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts..

The ribbon is from a local store..

The number 6 is cut out with a Tim Holtz alphabet die..

I added lots of these adorable Papermania pearls on the card..

All the edges are distressed with Walnut Stain Distress Ink and I just can't make a card without using my sewing machine..

Another Doohickey.. From the Flag and Cloud set..

I always add a little bit of white Crackle Paint on the flag edges..

The name is made with another Tim Holtz die.. I think this one is called Typeset..

This little sweetie is called Birthday Tilda and it's from the Magnolia You're So Special Collection 2011..

I stamped the image on 300g Montval Canson aquarel paper..

Can you see all the little details???

Frosted Lace Stickles on her dress.. Cotton Candy Stickles on the bow in her hair.. Liquid Pearls around the image.. Glossy Accents on the cake..

Midweek Magnolias - Week #15

Some of you may have noticed something new on my sidebar.. Yes.. There's a new badge..

I'm a new member of the Midweek Magnolias DT... Yayyyyyy!!!!!

Soooooo happy!!! These ladies are amazing!!

Let's move on to my first card for Midweek Magnolias..

This week's theme is a Recipe 1-2-3 ..

Use 1 Ribbon, 2 Buttons and 3 Flowers on your project..

I went to a local store and bought these two buttons for my card..

I love them and I don't like buttons at all.. At least not on clothes.. :))

The papers are from Maja Design.. The textured ones are from Papermania..
All the paper edges are sewn and distressed with Walnut Stain Distress Ink..

I added lots of cheesecloth on this one.. The blue organza ribbon is laso from a local store..

I used some Kaisercraft half-pearls..

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.. 

The image is stamped on 300g Montval Canson aquarel paper and coloured with Distress Inks..

This stamp is called Tilda With Amaryllis.. She's from the Merry Little Christmas Collection 2010..

I think that's the only photo where you can actually see that I added some Stickles on her dress.. Glossy Accents on the flowers.. And Liquid Pearls around the image..

Tilda's Town Challenge #4

Yes.. It's time for another great challenge over at Tilda's Town Challenges..

Janneke made an awesome sketch for this week's challenge..

I have to admit that this wasn't an easy sketch to follow.. All those layers frightened me a bit...

But I'm completely satisfied with the result..

The papers are from Magnolia and Papermania.. The card base is Anita's..

I used one of my favourite Doohickey's.. The Heart Swirl..

I also used some corrugated cardboard.. I really like this one because of those waves..

The paper edges are sewn and distressed with Walnut Stain Distress Ink..

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts..

I had to put a shell on this card too.. I have so many shells in my closet.. Don't know how to use them all.. :)

The gemstones are from Wild Orchid Crafts as well..

The lace is from a local store..

I used a stamp from the latest Magnolia Collection - Summer Memories.. She's called Tilda In Key Largo..

I stamped her on 300g Montval Canson aquarel paper and coloured her with Distress Inks..

The small dots around her are made with Liquid Pearls..

Hanna and Friends #147 - Sketch

Hey!

I'm so happy to show you my first card as an official DT member of the Hanna and Friends Challenge Blog..

We have a beautiful sketch for this challenge..

Here are some more details of my card:

I use Anita's Square Quality White Card Blanks for my cards..

They are relatively small (13,5x13,5cm) but I like them..

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts..

For this card I used some of my new Maja Design papers.. I love them!!!

The white and purple textured papers are from Papermania..

I used Kaisercraft purple half-pearls..

All the edges are sewn and distressed .. I always use Walnut Stain Distress Ink for that.. 

Both ovals are Spellbinders..

There's some cheesecloth under the image.. I think it adds a little bit more dimension to the card..

I used Will You Be My Valentine Tilda from the You're So Special 2011 Magnolia Collection..

She's stamped with StazOn Ink on 300g Montval Canson aquarel paper and coloured with Distress Inks..

The dots around her are made with Liquid Pearls..
