Deep Ocean Challenge #68 - Share Your Crafting Space!

Hello guys!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with your familes. Mine was pretty busy cos' I was at work but I'm sure I have plenty of time to celebrate it with my loved ones..
Maybe next year..
This is my last post for 2013 and I would like to wish you all a very very healthy and happy New Year!!!!!
I have to say a big thank you to everyone who has been a follower of my blog..
Thanks for reading and commenting on my posts throughout the year..
I really appreciate it!!!

THANK YOU!!!!

Now onto the last Deep Ocean Challenge for this year..
Share Your Crafting Space!
This really is something different, isn't it?

Here's my craft room..

It's been like that for more than a year now and it is one of my goals for 2014 to finish it..
With all the drawers and stuff I was still not able to organize all my stash.. Can you imagine?

This is where I keep all my punches and paper flowers..
The rest is hidden in the drawers.. LOL!
And there's the famous shelf that holds just some of the cards I got..

My 'working station'.. The computer is no longer there .. I'm still waiting to get it fixed..
And the answer is Yes.. I love teal.. I think it's my favourite colour at the moment..
I have a lot of unfinished projects laying here and there but I've hidden the mess when taking the pictures.. LOL!

Not one of the best views lately with that ugly scaffold outside my window but the building is gonna look so much better when this is over..
I think you've noticed by now that all of my furniture is from IKEA.. You gotta love that shop..

Still trying to find the best way to organize my Distress Inks and stuff..
My homemade foamboard storage is doing the work for now..

I need some more shelves here for all the cards I got from my lovely crafty friends..
I have them all over my appartment for now.. ;)
And those lights are really ugly.. Have to find a spot to hide those too..

I just want to give you some advice if you're thinking about a craft room makeover..
Buy some floor to ceiling cabinets or you'll never have enough space for all your stash..
I've learned the lesson..

I can' wait to see your craft spaces and get some inspiration..
And I really hope you'll be back many times in the coming year..

Once again I wish you all the best!!!!!

Big hugs, Tina

All the papers are distressed and machine sewn..

This doily was made with a Cheery Lynn die..
The sentiment is from Stempelglede..
The postmarks are from Kort & Godt..

I've used my Spellbinders Ovals and Scalloped Ovals twice..
The heart doily is from LLC..
The La-La Land Filigree Corners are spectacular..
The little flowers are made with a Doohickey..

Live & Love Crafts DT - Christmas Song

Hello there!
I'm here with a new creation for the LLC Inspirational blog..
This week we have the theme Christmas song..
I love this time of the year and one of my favourite songs is this one: Bing Crosby - White Christmas..
My card is pink but there's a lot of  'snow' on it..

I had to use my brand new Maja Design Vintage Frost Basics papers cos' they are just amazing..
The image is coloured with Distress Inks and reinkers and the shade around it is made with those too..
I really love the effect of Frantage on a coloured base and I just had to use the Liquid Applique again..
It looks like real snow..

I've used my new Spellbinders Marvelous Squares to cut out the image..
The two tags on the left are made with a Magnolia Doohickey die called Tilda Tag..
There's some Vintage Seam Binding on them and I've used Chunky White Frantage on one and Shabby White Frantage on the other..

You can find all these gorgeous WOC and Kort & Godt flowers in the LLC store and I suggest you visit the store asap because there are the new Pion papers in stock and some gorgeous lace I cannot wait to put my hands on.. :)
The heart doily is so sweet, isn't it?

And here are some more flowers, berries and the super cute pine cone..
I've added some pearls and all the paper edges are distressed with a Tim Holtz tool and then inked with Walnut Stain Distress Ink..
All the edges are also machine sewn..

I've added the rhinestones lace and the ''Madame de Pompadour'' lace.. Love them both!!
I've added some Frantage on the papers and some Gesso and Crackle Paint too..

The image is stamped with Archival Ink on 300g Langton aquarel paper..
These two are called Show The Way Tilda and Show The Way Baby Rudolf and they are both from the Winter Wonderland Collection 2013..
I've used the following colours:
Weathered Wood
Vintage Photo
Tattered Rose
Antique Linen
Walnut Stain
Victorian Velvet
Pumice Stone
Black Soot

Live & Love Crafts DT - Shabby Christmas

Hi everyone,
I'm here with a Shabby Christmas creation for the LLC Inspirational Blog..

I love white on white but I find it quite challenging..
This is the theme of this week's challenge at MDUC and I've decided to give it a go..
I've also decided to play with lots of layers and different textures..

I've used a gorgeous sheet of Magnolia paper this time..
The card's shape was made using a GoKreate die..
The Snowflake border is a Tim Holtz die.. I'm sure you recognize it..
The doily is from my stash..

Here's a close up of the gorgeous Magnolia Vintage Angel and the ton of sprays and flowers around him..
I've used almost every kind of flower Sandy stocks..
The Poppies, Carnations, Chrysantemums, Open Roses, Hip Rosebuds, Cherry Blossoms..
There's some gorgeous Lace ''Alençon'' there and the Pearl Lace With Beads but they are almost completely covered with all the other embellies..
The Swirl is a Magnoila Doohickey and so is the Snowflake.. I'm not sure you can see it.. It's under all those flowers..

And yes.. Here are some more flowers..
The Lilies, Wild Roses, Cosmos Daisies and even some Frosted Berries..
The new Vintage Wood Bird Cages are amazing..
Mine is covered with Gesso and Crackle Paint and I've added a little bow and two cute Bells on it..
There's another Snowflake under the bunch of flowers and the Angel Wing die..
All the die-cuts are covered with Shabby White Frantage..
The pearls are a must and so are the distressing and stitching on all the paper edges..

Well.. Can you see the lace now? I love it!
An the Pearl String around the image??
The image was cut out with a Spellbinders Oval and the frame under it is a die from Marianne Design..
There's some cheesecloth here and there and some Gesso and Crackle Paint too..
I've used the Frantage around the image too but I've also added some Liquid Applique..
The bells are covered with Stickles..

This is Jingle Bell Rudolf from the Winter Wonderland Collection 2013..
The Christmas Background stamp is from the So Jolly & Under The Mistletoe Collection 2009..
They are both stamped with Archival Ink on 300g Langton aquarel paper and then coloured with Distress Inks and reinkers..
I've used just a few colours for this one:
Weathered Wood
Pumice Stone
Tattered Rose
Antique Linen
Walnut Stain
Aged Mahogany
Scattered Straw
Wild Honey

I'm also entering this card into the following challenges:

Live & Love Crafts DT - Sweet Baby

Hi everyone!
This week the LLC DT is using the papers from the new Pion Design Sweet Baby collection..

I think these papers are pretty versatile but since I haven't made a baby card for ages I thought I would make a book card for a little girl..

I have to warn you.. This one is picture heavy.. ;)

Of course I've used a Magnolia stamp.. I'm obsessed with them.. LOL!
This is Little Cute Tilda from the Special Moment Collection 2013..

I love the fact that Sandy stocks Magnolia products too.. And she's got a ton of Magnolia dies in the store.. I use them on almost every project cos' they are simply gorgeous..
I've used the Heart Tag Doohickey on this one..
The butterflies are made with a Martha Stewart mold and some FIMO Air..
The image was cut out with one of the Spellbinders Opulent Ovals..

Charms are one of my obsessions and this Baby Pram is soooo cute..
But I had to add another charm inside too..
Take a closer look cos' it's well hidden..
I use a lot of Crackle Paint and Gesso on my projects..
And cheese cloth is pretty common too..

Take a look at all these gorgeous WOC flowers.. And the angel..
I've added  some Tulle Pleat Trim under them..
And have you seen the gorgeous effect Frantage gives around the image??
I have placed an Ornate Oval (a Sizzix die) under all those layers..

Then there's some lace, and some Shabby Seam Binding, and the Mini Sewing Spools..
And of course lots of pearls all over the place..
I've used a Martha Stewart punch for the borders..

The image is stamped with Archival Ink on 300g Langton Aquarel paper and coloured with Distress Inks and reinkers..
The colours:
Weathered Wood
Vintage Photo
Tattered Rose
Antique Linen
Walnut Stain
Pumice Stone
Peeled Paint
I've added some Stickles on the sleeves..

Here's the inside.. With tons of flowers, lace and that amazing Bark Heart..
The tickets are from the Sweet Baby collection too..

Did you find the other charm??
It's the Baby Dummy tucked between all those flowers..
The heart under the flowers was made with the Classic Heart and Classic Scalloped Heart Spellbinders ..

That's how the back of the card looks like..
Someone was asking me about that lately..
I don't usually decorate the back but I always put my Limited Edition stamp on my cards..

I'm entering this card into the Simply Magnolia Challenge - Over The Edge..

That's it for today! I really hope you enjoyed!
If there's something you'd like to know just ask..

Hugs, Tina

Midweek Magnolias - Anything But A Card

That's right..
You can see from the title of this post that it's time for a brand new challenge at Midweek Magnolias..
And the theme is Anything But A Card..

Remember the Christmas gift box I made not so long ago??
I enjoyed so much making it that I've decided to make another one..

How could I not use one of the stamps from the latest Magnolia Winter Wonderland Collection 2013..
This is Puppy Love Tilda..
And I LOOOOOVE her!!!

The box is made out of kraft paper and Papermania Textured paper and then decorated with some DP's..
Maja Design - It's Christmas Time - Sparkle
Inkido - Forever Santa - Christmas Music
All the paper edges are distressed with a Tim Holtz tool and then inked with Walnut Stain Distress Ink..
All the edges are machine sewn too..
The pearls and Bead Berry Spray Clusters are from Wild Orchid Crafts..

I've used several Magnolia Doohickey dies for it:
- View Master
- Vintage Box Lacing Coffee
- Slender Firs
The View Master and Firs are covered with some Shabby White Frantage..
The cheesecloth is from my stash..
The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and Kort & Godt..

I've used my Spellbinders Opulent Ovals to cut out this cutie..
The image is stamped with Archival Ink on 300g Langton aquarel paper and coloured with Distress Inks and reinkers..
Here are the colours I've used:
Vintage Photo
Tattered Rose
Antique Linen
Walnut Stain
Weathered Wood
Pumice Stone
Victorian Velvet
Peeled Paint
Forest Moss
Aged Mahogany
Black Soot
As you can see I've added some Frantage around the image too..
The dots on her cheeks are made with an Inkssentials White Opaque Pen..
I've also added some Stickles on some parts of her dress and some Glossy Accents on the seal..

For the border of the lid I've used a Martha Stewart punch called Eyelet Lace..
There's some Vintage Seam Binding all around and I finished the look with a bow and one of my gorgeous Mini Bark Hearts from the LLC store..
There's some Gesso and some Crackle Paint here and there and two mini bells hidden on the right side of the biggest flower..

This was my creation for this fortnight's challenge..
I can't wait to see what you come up with..
Don't forget that there's a fantastic mistery prize from Magnolia waiting for one lucky winner..

Hugs, Tina
