MDUC Challenge #130 - Colours of your National Flag

It' s my MDUC special guest DT badge... Yaaaayyyy ... I'm so happy to be the lucky winner of this amazing prize..

The challenge this week is to"Create a project in the colours of your National Flag"..


Now that I've seen the DT cards I am more determined than ever .. I want to be in a Magnolia DT... I know I have to work hard to improve my cardmaking skills but I'm gonna make it.. :)) And one day my cards will be as beautyful as theirs.. :))

I have to say that this one was tough for me.. I really had some trouble with this colour combo .. Not one of my favourites.. :) Anyway..

I'm from Slovenija and this is our flag..

As you can see I had to use white, blue, red and yellow (the three little stars)..

Here she is .. Wild Tilda.. One of my favourites from the last Magnolia Collection - Sweet Crazy Love..
I have to admit that I had a hard time working on this one..
There are so many details on this image.. I didn't realize that until I started colouring..

I made this card for CRAFT-alnica  - Izziv #46 - Kraljestvo Živali..
The theme of this challenge is animal kingdom..

I already started working on something a little bit different.. If you're interested just stay tuned..

This is my first attempt of colouring the whole image with distress inks.. I'll have to practice more..

This is the first time I make a Twisted Easel Card..

Tilda With Small Gift

I've been wanting this cute little Tilda for soooo long and I finally got mine..
That's what I made with her today..

I made another attempt with distress inks.. I'm not really satisfied ..
I don't know what's the mistake I make but it seems that I'm not capable of colouring with my H2O brushes..
There's too much water.. There's water everywhere..
I guess I have to try with a normal brush next time.. :)
