Tilda's Town Challenge #2

Hi everyone!

I'm so excited right now as it's time for a new challenge at Tilda's Town..

This week's theme is Water Fun..

This is what I came up with:

I masked two stamps from the new Summer Memories Collection..

Tilda Offshore & Rescue Tower..

I made a small sailor's knot with some rope I had..

All the edges are distressed with Walnut Stain Distress Ink and sewn..

The flags are a Magnolia Doohickey.. 

I added some Crackle Paint on the edges and then distressed them with Walnut Stain..

The alphabet is from Tim Holtz and is called Typeset..

The blue & white cord is from a local store.. And so is the jute stripe..

I had some shells in my closet and now I finally got the chance to use some.. 

The patterned paper is from Magnolia.. The others are from Papermania..

The beautiful edge is made with Tim Holtz's Scrollwork die..

The image is stamped with StazOn Ink on 300g Montval Canson aquarel paper..

I coloured it with Distress Inks..

I also added some Liquid Pearls around the image..

Tilda With Butterfly Dress

This card is for my friend's daugter..

The image is called Tilda With Butterfly Dress and it's from the Butterfly Dreams Collection 2011..

I used Magnolia and Papermania papers..

All the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts..

The lace is from a local store..

This Vintage Postcard is from the Whimsy Background collection.. I stamped it on kraft paper..

I'm so happy.. I finally got my Stempelglede Vintage Garden set..

I had to use it right away..

All the paper edges are distressed and sewn..

Walnut Stain is my favourite for distressing edges..

This gorgeous border is a Magnolia Doohickey called Heart Flower Lace..

The image is stamped with StazOn Ink on 300g acquarel paper and coloured with Distress Inks..

I added lots of cheesecloth under the image..

Liquid Pearls around Tilda and that's it..

Hey Girls!

So sorry to be late with the announcement of my candy winner but I had some problems with my internet connection yesterday..

First I have to thank all the amazing ladies that sent me their beautiful creations... THANK YOU SO MUCH..

I love every single card I received..

Angel Tilda

This time I have not one but two cards..

They are for two first holy communions..

One for a boy and one for a girl..

I used Angel Tilda from the Merry Little Christmas Collection 2010..

The patterned paper is from Magnolia..

The others are from a local store..

The ovals and the tag are Spellbinders .. The wing and border are Magnolia Doohickeys..

I also used one of my Martha Stewart punches..

All the flowers I used are from Wild Orchid Crafts.. I added some feathers from an old pillow..

The pearls are from Kaisercraft..

All the edges are sewn with a sewing machine and distressed with Walnut Stain Distress Ink..

I hope you can see that the blue and pink papers are embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder called Moroccan Screen.. The lace is from a local store..

The image is coloured with Distress Inks..

As usual I added some Liquid Pearls around the image..

And Tilda has lots of Frosted Lace Stickles on her wings..

There's even some StazOn Metallic Gold Ink on her halo..

Edwin Wants A Hug

My friend's nephew is celebrating his first birthday and here's the card I made for him..

This is Edwin Wants A Hug from the You're So Special Collection 2011..

I used an Anita's Square Quality White Card Blank for the base.. The patterned papers are from Magnolia.. The blue and white textured papers from Papermania..

This butterfly is a Magnolia Doohickey.. And so is the Star Tag which is made out of a pice of corrugated cardboard ..

The white pearls are from WOC.. the blue ones from Kaisercraft..

These beautiful paper flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.. The blue stamen is from a local store..

All the edges are distressed and sewn..

I added a little bit of crackle paint on the star.. And there's some cheesecloth under the second layer of paper..

The flags are also a Doohickey .. I added some crackle paint on them too..

I used the Tim Holtz Typeset alphabet to cut out the boys name and the Vintage Market Alphabet die for the number 1..

The image is stamped on 300g Montval Canson acquarel paper and coloured with Distress Inks..

Can you see the Liquid Pearls around Edwin???
