Live & Love Crafts DT - Shabby Christmas

Hi everyone,
I'm here with a Shabby Christmas creation for the LLC Inspirational Blog..

I love white on white but I find it quite challenging..
This is the theme of this week's challenge at MDUC and I've decided to give it a go..
I've also decided to play with lots of layers and different textures..

I've used a gorgeous sheet of Magnolia paper this time..
The card's shape was made using a GoKreate die..
The Snowflake border is a Tim Holtz die.. I'm sure you recognize it..
The doily is from my stash..

Here's a close up of the gorgeous Magnolia Vintage Angel and the ton of sprays and flowers around him..
I've used almost every kind of flower Sandy stocks..
The Poppies, Carnations, Chrysantemums, Open Roses, Hip Rosebuds, Cherry Blossoms..
There's some gorgeous Lace ''Alençon'' there and the Pearl Lace With Beads but they are almost completely covered with all the other embellies..
The Swirl is a Magnoila Doohickey and so is the Snowflake.. I'm not sure you can see it.. It's under all those flowers..

And yes.. Here are some more flowers..
The Lilies, Wild Roses, Cosmos Daisies and even some Frosted Berries..
The new Vintage Wood Bird Cages are amazing..
Mine is covered with Gesso and Crackle Paint and I've added a little bow and two cute Bells on it..
There's another Snowflake under the bunch of flowers and the Angel Wing die..
All the die-cuts are covered with Shabby White Frantage..
The pearls are a must and so are the distressing and stitching on all the paper edges..

Well.. Can you see the lace now? I love it!
An the Pearl String around the image??
The image was cut out with a Spellbinders Oval and the frame under it is a die from Marianne Design..
There's some cheesecloth here and there and some Gesso and Crackle Paint too..
I've used the Frantage around the image too but I've also added some Liquid Applique..
The bells are covered with Stickles..

This is Jingle Bell Rudolf from the Winter Wonderland Collection 2013..
The Christmas Background stamp is from the So Jolly & Under The Mistletoe Collection 2009..
They are both stamped with Archival Ink on 300g Langton aquarel paper and then coloured with Distress Inks and reinkers..
I've used just a few colours for this one:
Weathered Wood
Pumice Stone
Tattered Rose
Antique Linen
Walnut Stain
Aged Mahogany
Scattered Straw
Wild Honey

I'm also entering this card into the following challenges:
1. Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia Challenge #83 - Christmas is Coming

Live & Love Crafts DT - Sweet Baby

Hi everyone!
This week the LLC DT is using the papers from the new Pion Design Sweet Baby collection..

I think these papers are pretty versatile but since I haven't made a baby card for ages I thought I would make a book card for a little girl..

I have to warn you.. This one is picture heavy.. ;)

Of course I've used a Magnolia stamp.. I'm obsessed with them.. LOL!
This is Little Cute Tilda from the Special Moment Collection 2013..

I love the fact that Sandy stocks Magnolia products too.. And she's got a ton of Magnolia dies in the store.. I use them on almost every project cos' they are simply gorgeous..
I've used the Heart Tag Doohickey on this one..
The butterflies are made with a Martha Stewart mold and some FIMO Air..
The image was cut out with one of the Spellbinders Opulent Ovals..

Charms are one of my obsessions and this Baby Pram is soooo cute..
But I had to add another charm inside too..
Take a closer look cos' it's well hidden..
I use a lot of Crackle Paint and Gesso on my projects..
And cheese cloth is pretty common too..

Take a look at all these gorgeous WOC flowers.. And the angel..
I've added  some Tulle Pleat Trim under them..
And have you seen the gorgeous effect Frantage gives around the image??
I have placed an Ornate Oval (a Sizzix die) under all those layers..

Then there's some lace, and some Shabby Seam Binding, and the Mini Sewing Spools..
And of course lots of pearls all over the place..
I've used a Martha Stewart punch for the borders..

The image is stamped with Archival Ink on 300g Langton Aquarel paper and coloured with Distress Inks and reinkers..
The colours:
Weathered Wood
Vintage Photo
Tattered Rose
Antique Linen
Walnut Stain
Pumice Stone
Peeled Paint
I've added some Stickles on the sleeves..

Here's the inside.. With tons of flowers, lace and that amazing Bark Heart..
The tickets are from the Sweet Baby collection too..

Did you find the other charm??
It's the Baby Dummy tucked between all those flowers..
The heart under the flowers was made with the Classic Heart and Classic Scalloped Heart Spellbinders ..

That's how the back of the card looks like..
Someone was asking me about that lately..
I don't usually decorate the back but I always put my Limited Edition stamp on my cards..

I'm entering this card into the Simply Magnolia Challenge - Over The Edge..

That's it for today! I really hope you enjoyed!
If there's something you'd like to know just ask..

Midweek Magnolias - Anything But A Card

That's right..
You can see from the title of this post that it's time for a brand new challenge at Midweek Magnolias..
And the theme is Anything But A Card..

Remember the Christmas gift box I made not so long ago??
I enjoyed so much making it that I've decided to make another one..

How could I not use one of the stamps from the latest Magnolia Winter Wonderland Collection 2013..
This is Puppy Love Tilda..
And I LOOOOOVE her!!!

The box is made out of kraft paper and Papermania Textured paper and then decorated with some DP's..
Maja Design - It's Christmas Time - Sparkle
Inkido - Forever Santa - Christmas Music
All the paper edges are distressed with a Tim Holtz tool and then inked with Walnut Stain Distress Ink..
All the edges are machine sewn too..
The pearls and Bead Berry Spray Clusters are from Wild Orchid Crafts..

I've used several Magnolia Doohickey dies for it:
- View Master
- Vintage Box Lacing Coffee
- Slender Firs
The View Master and Firs are covered with some Shabby White Frantage..
The cheesecloth is from my stash..
The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and Kort & Godt..

I've used my Spellbinders Opulent Ovals to cut out this cutie..
The image is stamped with Archival Ink on 300g Langton aquarel paper and coloured with Distress Inks and reinkers..
Here are the colours I've used:
Vintage Photo
Tattered Rose
Antique Linen
Walnut Stain
Weathered Wood
Pumice Stone
Victorian Velvet
Peeled Paint
Forest Moss
Aged Mahogany
Black Soot
As you can see I've added some Frantage around the image too..
The dots on her cheeks are made with an Inkssentials White Opaque Pen..
I've also added some Stickles on some parts of her dress and some Glossy Accents on the seal..

For the border of the lid I've used a Martha Stewart punch called Eyelet Lace..
There's some Vintage Seam Binding all around and I finished the look with a bow and one of my gorgeous Mini Bark Hearts from the LLC store..
There's some Gesso and some Crackle Paint here and there and two mini bells hidden on the right side of the biggest flower..

This was my creation for this fortnight's challenge..
I can't wait to see what you come up with..
Don't forget that there's a fantastic mistery prize from Magnolia waiting for one lucky winner..

A Joyful Christmas

Hi everyone!
Ready for a new card for the Live & Love Crafts Inspiration Blog??
I'm a little bit tired of the green and red combination for Christmas cards so I went for a non-traditional pink and white colour combo this time..
I really like how it all turned out..

I've used once again some Maja Design papers from the Vintage Summer Basics Collection..
The sheets are 1909 and 1910 to be more specific..
The card's shape was made using a GoKreate die..
There are lots of Magnolia stamps on this card..
There's the A Joyful Christmas Text and A Joyful Tilda from the Winter Wonderland Collection 2013
and the Postmark from the With Love Collection 2013..

I've also used some JoyCrafts dies..
The Winter Wishes Ice Crystals Border and the Snowflake Circle..
They are both covered with some Shabby White Frantage..
All the paper edges are distressed usind a Tim Holtz tool and then inked with some Walnut Stain Distress Ink..
I alway sew the borders with my sewing machine too..
The doily is there of course.. ;)

A lot going on on this side too..
You can see a bag and a tag hidden under all those flowers..
The lace is from my stash..
I've used Spellbinders Ovals and Opulent Ovals for the image..
There's some Frantage around Tilda too..
I've used lots of WOC pearls..
Did you notice the Vintage Metal Jingle Bells?? So tiny..

The flowers are from WOC and Kort & Godt..
There are so many different kinds.. I used a little bit of everything..
Some of the flowers are covered with Glossy Accents and Diamond Dust..
And have you seen all the berries, flower sprays and foam flower buds?
The metal corner is gorgeous, right?

I've used some Crispy Ribbon and the Rhinestiones lace..
The higlights are made with and Inkssentials White Opaque pen..
I've also added some Picket Fence Crackle Paint and some Gesso here and there..
This Christmas Stocking charm is so cute..

I really went crazy with the flowers and other embellies this time..
Sandy's got some of the most amazing flowers in her shop..
They are all sooooooo gorgeous..
I just couldn't stop adding them.. :)
There's some cheesecloth between and under them..

The image is coloured with Distress Inks and reinkers..
As usual I've used some Archival Ink and the 300g Langton aquarel paper..
This is the very first time I use the Liquid Applique..

Hello there!

I am..
Here's my card for this week's Christmas theme..

I just had to use one of my newest stamps..
Isn't she gorgeous??
I love this week's challenge over at MDUC and I've decided to use their sketch for this card..

I have a new Tim Holtz die and it was just the thing I needed to decorate the bottom of the card.. I'm talking of the Brackets Alterations die..
And I had to use one of my GoKreate dies too..
The wonderful DP's are from Magnolia..
The Tilda Tag is a Magnolia Doohickey die and is made out of kraft paper..
The lace is from my stash..
And thake a look at the bark star.. So cute..
It's such a pity you can't see properly the mini bell on the tag.. It even makes a nice sound when you move the card around..

The corner is made out of FIMO Air..
I made it with a silicone mould my father made for me..
All the pearls are from Wild Orchid Crafts..
There's a piece of corrugated cardboard under the image that I've covered with Crackle paint..
I've also added some Gesso here and there..

Some of the flowers are from WOC and some from Kort & Godt..
The frosted berries are from Live & Love Crafts..
The lace and Gingham ribbon are from LLC too..
The doily is from my stash..

All the paper edges are distressed using a Tim Holtz tool and then inked with some Walnut Stain Distress Ink..
I always sew the edges with my sewing machine..
The Spellbinders Opulent Ovals are one of my newer dies too..
The cones are one of my favourite embellies for winter cards and I just had to add the snowflake charm too..

The image is stamped with Archival Ink on 300g Langton aquarel paper and coloured with Distress Inks and reinkers..
There's some Shabby White Frantage around the image..
I use an Inkssentials white opaque pen for the highlights..

Christmas Eve Tilda

Hi everyone!
It's time for a brand new Live & Love Crafts challenge..

This is a little gift box I made..
But let me introduce this month's theme..
We have a Christmas Photo Inspiration Collage for you this month..
I love it!!

I knew immediately which products from Sandy's store I wanted to use..
The papers are from Maja Design.. I've used some of my brand new papers from the Vintage Autumn Basics pad.. The sheet with the clock was just perfect..
I've decided to go with a brown/white look with a little bit of red and green..
The gorgeous Vintage red berries are from Magnolia..
And have you seen those super cute cones??

The snowflake die is from JoyCrafts..
The Snowy Forest on the right is a Magnolia Doohickey die..
I love the metal corners from the LLC store..
The bark hearts are super cute too..
And the ''amour'' lace.. Simply gorgeous..

I've added lots of shabby seam binding on this box and I've decided to add one of the new Maya Road Pearl Star Flowers on top of the bow..
These are just amazing..

It's kinda difficult for me to take pictures of this project but I hope you can see that all the edges are distressed with a Tim Holtz tool, then inked with some Walnut Stain Distress Ink and machine sewn..
I've used some Frantage.. Again..
This time I chose Chunky White and Shabby White..
And there's some Crackle Paint..
And some gesso..

This cutie is called Christmas Eve Tilda and it's one of the new stamps from the Winter Wonderland Collection 2013..
The image is stamped with Archival Ink on 300g Langton Aquarel Paper and coloured with Distress Inks and reinkers..
I've added some Stickles to some parts of her dress and I always use my Inkssentials White Opaque pen for the white dots on the cheeks..
I've used the Spellbinders Timeless Rectangles to cut out the image..

I had to add one of the mini sewing spools and the Joyful Christmas sentiment from the latest collection..
The tiny wood veneer hearts are such a great detail.. I've painted mine with some gesso..
Hopefully I didn't forget anything..

I'm entering this project into the following challenges:
